GDPR Terms

GDPR – information on personal data processing

In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the applicable laws of the Republic of Croatia, we inform you of the following:

  1. The Controller of your personal data is ESTATE.com.hr, contact info@estate.com.hr. For specific projects, part of the processing may be carried out by our partner company MILJAS NEKRETNINE d.o.o., Vukovarska 26, 20000 Dubrovnik, OIB 87587972671, acting as a processor strictly in accordance with our written instructions.

  2. The purposes of processing are communication with you (responding to enquiries, sending requested information), preparation and performance of business cooperation, maintaining records of contacts and improving our services and Website.

  3. The legal bases for processing are:

    • performance of a contract or taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract

    • compliance with legal obligations

    • our legitimate interests (e.g. maintaining business contact records, system security, statistical analytics)

    • your consent, where required (e.g. for certain marketing communications or non‑essential cookies).

  4. Recipients of data may include our contracted service providers (hosting, IT support, analytics and communication tools), project partners (including MILJAS NEKRETNINE d.o.o. where necessary for a specific project), and competent public authorities where required by law. All recipients are obliged to apply appropriate data‑protection measures.

  5. The retention period depends on the purpose of processing. Enquiry data are stored for up to 3 years after the last communication, while data related to contracts are stored in line with statutory deadlines (e.g. accounting rules). After expiry of the relevant period, data are deleted or anonymised.

  6. You have the following data subject rights: the right of access to your data, the right to rectification of inaccurate data, the right to erasure (“right to be forgotten”) in the cases provided by GDPR, the right to restriction of processing, the right to data portability, the right to object to processing based on legitimate interest and the right to withdraw your consent at any time without adverse consequences, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

  7. If you believe that your personal data are being processed in breach of the law, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the national supervisory authority – the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP), Selska cesta 136, 10000 Zagreb, Croatia.
